ALLERGENS Please note any allergies/medical conditions in the sign-up form upon registration. The Song Spot advises all registrants with allergies or medical conditions to register at their own risk. While we ask attendees to avoid bringing peanut or nut products, we cannot guarantee the absence of allergens at camp facilities. MEDICATION/ILLNESS Camp staff will hold prescription medication as directed on the label, with signed consent forms from parents. Parents must provide the exact dose, and children must administer the medication themselves. Please give medication to staff daily and pick it up at the end of the day. If your child is ill or unable to participate, you will be contacted to pick them up immediately. BULLYING The Song Spot is dedicated to creating a fun, safe and respectful environment for everyone. Bullying of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes any behaviors (physical, verbal, social, cyber, etc.) that negatively impact our campers and/or staff. Camp staff will investigate all reports of bullying, document them in incident reports, and take appropriate action. If a camper is found to be exhibiting bullying behavior towards anyone, the following steps will be taken: STRIKE 1 – The camper will be spoken to by the camp staff, and an email will be sent to the parents regarding the child’s behavior. STRIKE 2 – The camper will be spoken to by the camp staff, an email will be sent to the parents, and the parents will be asked to meet in person with a staff member to discuss the situation. STRIKE 3 – The camper will be sent home immediately and will be banned from participating in any future programs. REFUNDS There are no refunds for withdrawals, sick days, or days missed throughout the summer camp. Refunds might be offered in emergencies, at our discretion, but are subject to an admin fee. DISCLAIMER: While our summer camps are educational, they are not comparable to one-on-one private lessons. Summer camps offer a different experience than private lessons, as campers develop key performing arts skills while enjoying group activities and games. During lunch, they can relax with coloring, movies, or reading before returning to their activities. We’d be happy to share details about our private lessons if you're looking for a more focused and tailored approach to learning the performing arts. *A full policy/information guide will be sent to families prior to the start of camp*
